Nail Art // The Digit-al Dozen Does Paper: Scribble Paper Nails

by - Monday, June 12, 2017

You guys I have missed doing nail art so much! Things have been so busy that I just haven't had time, but sitting down to paint my nails and come up with some designs for the Digit-al Dozen theme for this week was so fun and relaxing! I love it.

This month our theme is 'Paper,' and I decided to start with a fairly literal take on it. :)

As you can see, I recreated an image of lined paper with doodles and scribbles all over it on my nails! To make it a little more interesting I used a white base with some flakies in it (Pretty & Polished Maleficium) and then stamped the lines for my paper before stamping on some scribbles.

The stamping polishes I used were Mundo de Unas Reddish and Pastel Blue and Sinful Colors Black on Black, and the plates I used were MoYou London Artist Collection 23 Plate, XY-Z01 and 2JOY-014. (The latter two were from a big Aliexpress order I made that just came in!)

This is the first time I've used this P&P shade and looking at it I will DEFINITELY have to do a full swatch soon! I hate doing swatches when my nails are so short though so I'll have to wait a bit.

Make sure to come back tomorrow to see the next idea I had around the theme of 'Paper'! There are so many ways you could go with it and it's been neat because so far all the DD ladies have done so many different looks. Such a creative bunch! Check them out below before you go. :)

Thanks for visiting! xx
