Hello hello! I have some more flashbacks to share with you from February 2014 today. Some of them are Valentines looks so we're going to break convention and look at holiday themed looks AFTER the holiday has passed. Ouuu, what rebels we are, right? Haha.
Let's get into it!

Another holiday is on the horizon and everyone is rolling out their themed releases! MoYou London has a fun new St Patrick's Day themed plate for the Festive Collection that will just perfect for March, and they're also adding a few more designs to the Suki Collection! Lots of cute and fun designs in this release, I think. :) I definitely see a few that I would love to use. Check it out for yourself and let me know what you think!
❀ Spring is almost here! ❀
And what is more suitable than Suki bringing us some extra plates from her collection!
♧ But let's not forget St Patrick's Day is around the corner! ♧
So here is a extra plate just for you!
THE SUKI COLLECTION
These 4 plates will be available starting this Friday 26th February!
Have a great evening,
The MoYou-London Team

I'm so into stamping right now you guys, oh my gosh. I have so many new plates but when I last sat down to do my nails I was shocked to find that I didn't own any basic black stamping polish! Can you believe it?
Thankfully Born Pretty Store stepped in and sent me some to review, so now that I've given it a try I'm here to let you know how it went. (Spoiler alert - it went well!)

I hinted that I might not be done with Valentines-y looks, right? Well, this is why! The theme for February's Hobby Polish Bloggers link-up was Valentine (or Anti-Valentine) looks and I was really hoping I would be able to take part before it closed. I've made it in just under the wire, and the design I went with let me use some of my brand new CND Vinylux shades! I was lucky enough to get the entire CND Vinylux Garden Muse Summer 2015 Collection when I was invited to the Toronto launch event, and while I have full swatches coming up for you in the next week or so you can consider this a preview. :)

March is here! For the first month in a long time I'm REALLY excited to share the collection with you for next month's Julep Maven Boxes! Not only do we have more semi-matte and silk polishes, we also have a new jelly shade! Honestly you would be able to hear my excitement from space.
Let's jump right in!

I have one last Valentines look to squeeze in for you before the season is finished! (And when I say "one last" I mean there might be a couple more coming out later this week... Haha. What can I say, Valentine looks are fun to do!)
This is my fill for "Happy Valentine's Day!" for the current Challenge Your Nail Art challenge. I decided to go all-out stereotypical. Pink, hearts, gems and shimmer! Let's make it as bold and holiday-y as we can, right? ;)

Love Is In the Air Nail Art Challenge: Cupid Stamping with Bundle Monster H17 from Nail Polish Canada
And I'm back! As promised here's the second look for today, fill two for the nail art challenge I'm taking part in hosted by Challenge Your Nail Art. The theme for the second day was a colour you love and currently the colour I love the most is grey! I decided to use a new-to-me grey in combination with a lovely Bundle Monster stamping plate I was gifted by Nail Polish Canada for the season. :) Check under the cut for more details!
February means Valentine nails! I'm taking part in a short and sweet nail art challenge hosted by Challenge Your Nail Art and today I have my first fill to share with you. (I'm actually a few days behind at this point so chances are I'll be doubling up on posting every day until I catch up... So you may see another post later tooday!)
This is my fill for the nail art technique I love - colour blocking. I also really really love doing leopard print but since I didn't know if that counted as a 'technique' I decided to double up.
Check out the list of the rest of the prompts below and then check under the cut for more pics of my mani!

Hello hello! Bet you thought I'd forgotten about these, right? :) Not to worry! We have this week and one more before we're done looking at the polishes from the 2014 Ciaté Mini Mani Manor Advent Calendar and I'm committed to getting them out to you before the end of February. This week we have some cooler shades and some gorgeous holos, so let's get right into it!

|My February 2015 Maven Box with two Plush Pout Lip Crayons, Vivien and Hartleigh|
February! I'm sorry to say there aren't any of the new collection colours in my box this month. I really wasn't feeling any of them so instead I got some older products and the polish in the collection that was un-retired for the month (Vivien). I do have the free gift polish for Valentines to share with you (Hartleigh) so there is at least one brand new product.
I've been sitting on this box for a while (can you believe it actually got delivered at the end of January? Quickest shipping yet!) so I apologize for the wait! The search terms that led to this blog over the past week tell me that people are impatient for swatches from this box so without further ado here we go!
*Note: I'm playing around with new lens and lighting so my skin colour is a bit off today, but the polishes are all colour-accurate. Hope to have this fixed soon!

One of the things I want to work on this year is re-featuring some of the previous content I've created, whether that's through recreations or looks back. It just seems like after things move off the first page or so they're more or less forgotten (both by me and readers). That seems like such a waste!
To counteract that happening I'm going to be introducing periodic Throwback Thursday posts. Another bonus of doing posts like this is to remind myself how far I've come, since like most bloggers I can get into phases where I'm really critical of my work and need to take a step back to acknowledge and appreciate how far I've come.
So let's get right into it! Today I have a selection of posts from Jan 2014 to share with you.
