Nail Art // The Digit-al Dozen Does Throwback Week: Recreating a 2014 Mani

by - Wednesday, October 11, 2017

How about another seasonal mani for this month's next DD look? :) This time I'm recreating an artsy leaf pattern that I originally did in 2014!

This look was one I originally did for the 31 Day Challenge in 2014, and if you want to check out the full post you can see it here.

The first time I did this I used richer shades of acrylic, whereas for the recreation I went with brighter colours. I think it looks neat in both palettes! Do you have a preference? :)

My base is OPI A-Taupe the Space Needle and my leaves are all freehanded with acrylic paint. :) It can be tricky doing thin lines but the nice thing with acrylic paint is that if you mess up you can let it dry and then just wipe it off with a brush and some water!

If you've been following along all week you know the drill, and you'll know that tomorrow I'll be back with a recreation from 2015! I'm excited to share it with you, as the next look is from a past guest post I did for another blogger!

Thanks for visiting! xx
