Nail Art // The Digital Dozen Does Vampy: Day 4

by - Thursday, October 13, 2016

Hello loves, I'm back with 4 for of The Digital Dozen does Vampy! I decided I wanted to play with some 3D roses today so the rest formed up around that idea. :) Who doesn't love leopard print and flowers, right?!

My colour palette this time around was purple. Just... anything purple. Haha.

I was excited to get a chance to try out one of the Julep holos for this look - Julep Alysha. It's a nice medium purple scattered holo (though in the bottle there is a wee bit of linear holo that comes through, too) and I will need to do a full swatch of it soon!

I also used OPI Viking in a Vinter Vonderland which was quite dark which means my leopard spots didn't show up well because it kind of blends with Sinful Colors Black on Black except in the macro below where you can kind of see the difference in shades. :/

And yes, one of my roses was painted over with polish... I think it was originally yellow? But I wanted a dark purple! So I held it with my tweezers, took my bottle of polish and went at 'er! Haha

Thanks for visiting! xx

  8. Oh this screams vampy, it's wonderful, I want to drown in it! And nice going with painting the roses; painting those tiny things without having them stick to everything is not easy!
