Color Club Emoji Emoticon Glitter Topper nail polish collection

Hello hello! Do I have a fun post for you! Everyone likes emojis, right? Well! How about emojis FOR YOUR NAILS? WHAT.

Today I have the full Color Club Nailmoji Neons Collection to share with you. It's a set of 7 polishes all featuring coloured hex glitter and a variety of emoji glitter, and each is made in special microbatches. The shapes included are kisses, smiley faces, ghosts, hearts and poo/pudding emojis!

The amount of glitter in these toppers is really generous so there is no issue in needing to fish to get the glitter out, which is awesome. Let's take a look!

Nail Art // Blue and Green Freehanded Froggy for When Colours Collide

For this round of When Colours Collide I wanted to use the prompts (blue and green only!) to do a look in a similar vein to my freehanded elephant from forever ago (aka 2014). I wanted the cutesy cartoon-y feel and I'm pretty happy with what I ended up with! :)

Today I pulled out Essie Stencil Me In (a neon chartreuse yellow) and added a bold black and white waterfall for some fun with contrasting. :) Woowoo!

Negative Space Jewelled Heart nail art

Hello loves! Today I have a very pretty negative space mani to share with you that features some heart shaped jewel decals from Born Pretty Store. When I pulled these out I had no idea what I was going to do with them, and in fact this started out as a French manicure and evolved from there! Yay for organic creation!

Nail Art // Stamped Splatter Mani with Ya Qin An Plate Y001

Splatter stamping nail art with Mundo de Unas, Sinful Colors and Ya Qin An

Splatter nail art can be a pain, but stamping on the splatter from an image? Much easier and neater! And looks just as awesome in my opinion! Check below for more info and pics!

Swatch // Essie Aim to Misbehave

Today we're looking at some swatches of Essie's 1000th shade - Aim to Misbehave! It's a bright and bold choice for a milestone shade and definitely not what you would expect from a brand like Essie who used to be synonymous with 'soft salon pink.' As soon as I saw this released I knew I had to have it which is really odd considering I'm definitely not a yellow fan normally! Yet here we are!

Swatch and Unboxing // Julep Maven August 2016 Beauty Box

* Referral Link

Oh my goodness it has been months since I last shared a Julep box with you, hasn't it? I've still been receiving them and enjoying them, but I just haven't gotten around to blogging about them!

This month I pushed myself to get this post out and I'm going to try to get to the backlog (one day lol) though unfortunately this is a month where my main box didn't have any polish in it... Maybe that's why it was so easy to get the post up before the end of the month? No polish swatches? Hmm.

Curious about what I got instead of polish? Check below to find out!

Guest Post // Bow Polish Thermal Top Coat by Keely from Keely's Nails

From Katherine: I loooove looking at thermal polishes, so I love this post that the wonderfully creative Keely put together for us today! Keely does awesome nail art so be sure to check her out after you read this post!

Bow Polish Thermal Top Coat

Hi everyone! I'm Keely from Keely's Nails, and thank you so much to Katherine for letting me guest post for you today. I've got the Bow Polish Thermal Top Coat to show off today, but I'll introduce myself quickly first.

I've been into nail art for a really long time and a few years ago decided to start blogging as a way to keep track of my progress (as well as learning some technical skills). Since then, I've mastered stamping, watermarbling and Wordpress skills too! It's definitely been an adventure and I've made some great friends along the way.

Hello lovely ProcrastiNails readers, Sarah from Workaday Beauty here. Katherine was looking for some guest posters, and we both share a love of nail polish (and tea), so I thought I'd send a simple nail art look to help her out.

Swatch // OPI Cosmo With a Twist

OPI Cosmo With a Twist from the 2015 Starlight Collection

Hey dolls! Today I'm sharing swatches of a shade I just picked up but that I can't believe I missed when it first came out. OPI Cosmo With a Twist originally came out with the 2015 Starlight Collection and I found it just sitting, waiting for me in a bin at Winners after a workout. Definitely a good gym reward, eh? :D Check out more pics and deets below!

Today I'm sharing a new brand that reached out to me that has an awesome ethical position when it comes to animal right and support. They sent me two products: the Beauty with a Twist Daily Shampoo and Beauty with a Twist Daily Conditioner. Check below for my thoughts on the products and also more info on how they actively work to support animals in need!

Review + Tutorial // Using the Born Pretty Store Clear Squishy Stamper

* Press Sample

I looooove clear stampers. When they became a "thing" a while ago I was over the moon because I was terrible at lining up my images with a regular stamper. I now own not one but two clear stampers from Born Pretty Store, and I'm here to share one with you today along with a quick stamping tutorial!

Swatches // Essie 2016 Neons Collection

Essie 2016 Neons Collection

Ahh, my beauty supply store strikes again! They put the Essie 2016 Neons Collection out a week early! :) Of course as soon as I saw these lovelies I KNEW I had to have them. Which kind of made my debit card cry because I only went in for one China Glaze polish, but when you gotta have a new collection you gotta have it, you know?

Aside from the gorgeously perfect neon shades included in this collection, it made me super happy to see that (aside from the violet) my camera took all these swatches accurately! That's right, no need to edit the colour to make sure it's vibrant enough. I was super surprised but super happy when it came time to edit these.

Enough chit chat! You probably want me to get a move on, so let's get to the swatches!

#InstaNails Roundup // July 2016

It's that time again! Time to take a look at some of the lovelies I posted over on Instagram that didn't or haven't yet made their way over to the blog yet. :) There are a lot of simple nail art looks that I didn't bother to photograph properly and a couple looks that are coming up in the near future!

Swatches // Illamasqua Creator and Venous

Time for another fun Winners find! This time with a brand I've never tried before: Illamasqua! Such a fun mouth-feel from saying that word... Illamaaasssqqquuuaaaa! Sephora used to carry this brand up until 2014, and as far as I know you can't actually get this brand in Canada anymore. So hooray for Winners getting in random stock! :) I have two shades that I grabbed that I'm able to show you today: Venous and Creator! Let's get to the swatches!

Review // Gehwol Refreshing Balm for Sore Legs and Feet

* Press Sample

I've been on a bit of a gym kick for the past year so there are parts of my body that are getting a workout that have never had to deal with being active before... One of them? My calves. Also my feet. UGH. I see a massage therapist every few weeks to help me work on the muscles and do a daily stretching routine, but any other supports are always welcome. So you can imagine my joy when I got an offer to review one of the products in the Gehwol line - a refreshing balm to help with aches in feet and legs! *angels sing* Did it work as well as I had hoped? Check out below the cut to find out!

* Contains Press Sample

Hello loves! Today I have a look to share with you that features a stunning metal charm that was sent to me by Born Pretty Store. :) I was feeling in the mood to do something simple that would show off how lovely the charm is so I decided to go with a smoosh mani (stamping marble) with some glitter. Check out more about it below the cut!

Review // OPI Ready for Takeoff! Kit Featuring Expert Touch Lacquer Remover + Corrector Pen

OPI Ready for Takeoff! Kit

Digging through the nail section at Winners is one of my favourite things to do on a day off. You honestly never know what you're going to find. I usually have really good luck with OPI. One time I found a discontinued polish from the 90's (OPI Bittersweet Chocolate, 1995) and another time I found a full OPI collection that wasn't even supposed to be released until the next week! Awesome.

Today's find isn't nearly as exciting at those, but for $9.99 CAD I was still really looking forward to trying it out. It's the Ready for Takeoff! Kit which includes both a polish remover and a corrector pen, neither of which I've tried from OPI in the past. So let's take a look!
