So let me tell you something. I am one of those horrible people who will occasionally go to bed with a full face of makeup because I'm too lazy to find and use my makeup remover(s) at night. Stained pillows? Don't care. Breakouts? Still don't care. I'm lazy!! I just want to go to bed!! When I do actually clean my face before bed 50% of the time I actually pull out all my proper cleansers and masks and what-have-you, and the other 50% of the time I just ruin one of my clean facecloths by making it hot and then rubbing all my makeup off.
With all this in mind, you can imagine how I felt when I got an offer to review the FaceOff Makeup Remover Cloth. Clean all the makeup from my face with no need for cleanser? I'll bite! Sounds hella easier for when I stumble home and all I want to do is go to sleep.
I can say my opinion of this product is definite and passionate, but you'll have to check the full review under the cut to see if that's good or bad!

The First Impression
So once I take the product out of the box I can tell that it feels soft, but I'm still sceptical about this thing taking off all of my makeup. To test it out I decided to use it on my face after a full day of wearing my regular daily makeup:
I'm not doing a selfie so you'll have to make due with imagining my beautiful face. Haha. But here's a rundown of what I was wearing:
- Julep So Radiant Diamond Powder Bronzer in Light Golden Bronze
- BareMinerals Original SPF 15 Foundation in Medium Beige
- Essence Gel Liner in Midnight in Paris
- Essence Silky Touch Blush in Babydoll
- Rimmel London Volume Colourist Mascara in Extreme Black
- Julep Fluid Eye Glider in Jet Black
- Julep Don't Leave Your Brows at Home Brow Powder in Cool Brown
- Julep Matte Lip Mousse in Pucker Up
Phew! So I wear my makeup all day, I get home at 2am and feel ready to crawl into bed and remember "Oh yeah, time to try out the cloth." So I grabbed the cloth, got it wet with some warm water, and got to it!
Here's what it looked like before and after I used it:
|Ewwwww. But kind of satisfying?|
Looks gross, right? Well it may look gross, but... I was SO impressed! Did it take all my makeup off? Yes! Did my face legit feel clean after? YES!
You guys I can't even express how pleasantly surprised I was. I've heard of other bloggers using cloths like this before but I always had some scepticism in my mind about them. But now I am 100% a convert, and I plan to start using this every day I don't do a full removal with cleansing products. They suggest replacing it every 3 or 4 months, and at $13 a cloth I don't mind that at all. It definitely lived up to and surpassed expectations. My face felt so clean you guys!
To clean the cloth they say just put it through the normal wash cycle, and hang it to dry. I did just that, and after everything was said and done it was white again! There was a bit of black and pink left on it but not enough to bother me, which is fine since it is a white cloth.
I wholeheartedly recommend picking up this cloth if like me you're not the best at washing your makeup off when you get home, and even if you are good at it but want a quicker and easier all-natural way to take care of your skin. :)
Have you tried a cloth like this before? What are your thoughts? Let me know!
