Swatches of Kozmic Colours Glitter Crelly Polishes

Everyone seemed to really like my last Nails on a Budget post featuring some Mariposa polishes from Dollarama so I decided to do another installment with some fun glitter crelly polishes I found a while ago! This time the brand is Kozmic Colours and I'll admit I had a nerdy Canadian rush of excitement to see they spelled colour with a 'u'! That combined with the fact that they were glitter crelly polishes (my second favourite type after matte) made me think I might end up pretty pleased with my $3 purchase...

Kozmic Colours Blue Glitter Crelly

First up from the set is this pretty baby blue crelly packed with a variety of glitters. I see some blue bar glitter, some small blue hexes, and some larger magenta and green hexes! Interesting mix! Since none of these have names I'll be calling this one the Blue Glitter Crelly. Creative, no? ;)

This is actually my lease favourite from this set. It applied really well (pictured is three coats with top coat) with no dragging or bumps, but I felt the glitter wasn't scattered enough to really show unless you made sure to have a glitter-packed blob on your brush. As you can see there wasn't much glitter in my third coat so it just buries the other two glitter layers:

Hmm. I wish the larger pink and green hexes were more visible. And even a crelly can't get me to start liking bar glitter! :/

This one I like quite a bit! It reminds me of green strawberries, if that makes sense! Or kiwis! Mmmm fruity nails. Haha.

I'm calling this the Green Glitter Crelly and as you can see it's packed to the brim with small black, gold and green hex glitter. Such a lovely combination! This is three coats with top coat and it applied really well with no dragging or lumps. :)

What about you, what kind of fruit does this remind you of? You're not allowed to say it doesn't remind you of fruit though, because no. Haha.

Hello, Pink Glitter Crelly! I like you quite a bit too. :) This is a cotton candy pink crelly with small green hex glitter and larger magenta, blue and golden yellow glitter. The colours in this one really remind me of candy and cartoons somehow - it's just so bright and cheery and energetic!

This is three coats with one layer of top coat and like the rest of the set applied with no issues.

I definitely saved the best for last, in my opinion at least. I adore white crelly polishes with coloured glitter mixed in so this is right up my alley. This White Glitter Crelly has a medium sheer white base with small green glitter mixed with larger pink and golden yellow hex glitter. I feel like this would be the perfect base for a girly mani featuring bows in some way... Hmmm... Something for me to think about!

Once again this is three coats with one layer of top coat, and it applied with absolutely zero issues. :) That white base built up wonderfully after each subsequent coat.

One thing I really like about this combo is that it kept to the same general colour group. You'll notice all but the blue has those small green glitters scattered throughout, and they all keep a basic colour palette with blues and yellows and pinks and greens.

I picked up this set of 4 full sized polishes for $3 and I do not regret it at all! I think these will be gorgeous bases for some stamping or nail art (I already used the White Glitter Crelly as a base once).

Let me know what you think! Do you have a favourite? Would you like to see more budget nail posts? :)

Thanks for visiting! xx
