It's been a while since we've had a throwback post, hasn't it! So let's fix that now. :) Today I have some nail art, a review of a product that claimed to make your polishing life easier, and a look at a feature that has since disappeared from my blog. Check under the cut to see what I'm talking about!

First up we have a look that is so simple but that I love so much. I only used two colours for this look and used one of my all-time favourite techniques - saran wrap marbling! Don't you love it?

Another technique I haven't tried in a while is a splatter. I find you have to use so much air to blow out the polish from the straw... It makes my cheeks hurt! I've since heard you can splatter from a slightly damp paint brush instead so maybe next time I'll try that.

A feature that was here for just a short period of time was my Mini Mani Monday. The idea behind it was that I kept picking up mini bottles at Winners and wanted some motivation to work on swatching them... And the feature was born! And then a few months later... The feature was dead. Ah well. I love how even the lighting was on this mani, though!

Ahhh magnetic polishes. My nails are too curved to activate the magnetic particles evenly, but I do like the metallic look for nail art bases! This is China Glaze Attraction as the base for a quick and simple leopard print look.

The last post I have to throwback-share with you today is my review for the Julep Plié Wand. It claimed to make it a breeze to paint your non-dominant hand, which would definitely change the polish game! Did it live up to the hype? Well... You'll have to check out the original post to find out! ;)
This was fun! I'll have to get back into the groove of putting these posts together. In the meantime my question for you is...
Which look do you like the best?
Thanks for visiting!
