ProcrastiNails: Hobby Polish Bloggers October Halloween Mani Link-Up!

Sorry for being MIA for the past week or so, but I’m back and ready to really get into Halloween designs. Today we have this bloody, swirly, spooky floating heads look! (My mani today is also part of a link-up I’m really excited to tell you about!)

If you don’t already know, I’m part of a lovely group on Facebook called the Hobby Polish Bloggers. It’s a group of bloggers who are blogging primarily for fun or on a more casual basis, and it’s a place where you can ask for any type of support/feedback/guidance in regards to your blog (or starting a blog!). It was one of the first groups I joined when I started blogging and I have yet to meet a group of more awesome and supportive people online.

Starting this month our group will be doing a themed link-up every month – this month we’re (obviously) going with Halloween looks!

My look started with a base of Essie Blanc and then I did a surprisingly decent water marble (first successful water marble EVER!) with Rimmel London Red Award, Nicole by OPI Hit The Lights, Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Essie Orange, it’s Obvious! The heads are decals from Dollarama and then I did some dotting to pull it all together.

To me this looks like skulls floating in a bloody, milky vortex of horror. SPOOKY! LOVE IT! Haha.

This was also the first time I really used my new camera (the Canon PowerShot G16) so I’m still figuring out how to adjust the focus/colours to my liking. So please excuse how pink my fingers look!

Thanks for visiting!
