Gems can be a funny thing because when you get them in a wheel they all look like they’re the same… same size, same shape, just different colours. But when you put them on the nail you might start to notice a difference! Case in point: this wheel had extra tiny red gems and larger-than-normal pink gems. :/ Kind of an annoying thing when you’re trying to use a line of gems to create a rainbow line for a challenge fill! Ah well. Sometimes we just gotta roll with it, right? 🙂 Let’s focus on the positive and take a better look at my fill for this week’s Finger Food’s Theme Buffet: Rainbow!
I started this look with two coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White and when that dried I used a coat of my current non-fast dry top coat – Golden Rose Mega Shine Top Coat. I then quickly placed my gems using a toothpick.
This is a lot simpler of a look than I intended to do for this challenge! But sometimes simple is best. 🙂
