ProcrastiNails: Mini Mani Monday: ORLY Rococo a Go Go

I have all these mini bottles sitting around in my collection and aside from a few of OPI’s Mariah shades from last year I don’t think that I’ve done much with them. That’s going to change, starting now! 🙂 Mini Mani Monday isn’t a unique name by any stretch of the imagination (I can think of at least 3 blogs that use the same series title for different posts – though it should be noted I thought of it independently before searching and finding those posts). For a while I was going to go with “Monday’s are for minis!” but Mini Mani Monday (or M3) just rolls of the tongue easier. So there we go. I’m going to try to keep the polishes in these posts exclusively as minis (whether that’s swatching or nail art). Let’s get started!

I own 5 ORLY polishes to date and 4 of them are minis. It’s not really a brand I’m super big on or super familiar with, but I can see that changing in the future. ORLY Rococo a Go Go came in a set of 4 minis I got at Winners a few months ago and on top of having a fun name to say it is a STUNNING shade. I got the set solely because this shade was in it, since from the second I saw it I knew I needed to have it. This shade was from ORLY’s Mineral FX collection from 2011, and as you can see it’s a stunning wine/purple base with flecks of gold and brown duochrome throughout.

Seriously, I can’t get enough of this polish. To the naked eye in real life it looks like a nice deep purple, but when you get it in the light all the other colours just come bursting out. Love. It.

Worth buying in full size?: Yes

I would definitely support buying this polish in full size if I came across it in my journeys. I’ve read that there are a few other brands out there that carry a duplicate shade (though I don’t own any of them) so if you’re curious that’s something you could google when you leave my page. 🙂

So what do you think, is this a shade you think you need a full size bottle of? Let me know!

Thanks for visiting!! xx
