ProcrastiNails: Zoya Aurora and Polka Dot Bow Mani~!

So I got a cute package of bows for nail art off of ebay a few weeks ago, and tonight seemed like as good a night as any to try them out in a mani. I love when I see other people do designs that have different coordinating looks on each nail (which is something I’ve never done). This is my first try at it! I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. 🙂

The bag of bows I got had all sorts of colour combinations, but I decided black and white would be good because I could just coordinate it with a single accent colour. (Start simple, right?) I decided on Zoya Aurora which is a gorgeous purple holo glitter. I put three coats of that on my accent nail, and then three coats of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On on two alternating fingers and three coats of Sinful Colors Black on Black on my pointer finger.

After all of those layers dried I used a dotting tool and SC Black on Black to make dots on top of the white nails, and placed the nail art bow on my accent finger. Normally I would use eyelash glue to hold it on, but I couldn’t find it tonight so I just used a blob of topcoat and let it dry without moving for a while.

Aurora is a really gorgeous colour, these pictures don’t really do it justice… It has a lot more depth in real life!

Gorgeous! And that’s the look. 🙂

Thanks for visiting!! xx
