Ohhhhh Theon Greyjoy. If I was to talk about all the ways I hate you, I wouldn’t know where to start. And yet for some reason I decided to do my Game of Thrones mani for the week based on your house sigil. I guess I just really wanted a chance to paint a squid (*cough* kraken) on my nails. Speaking of Theon, have I mentioned how excited I am for season 3? 😉
So I reeeeally dislike this mani. I don’t know if it’s the colour combo I decided to go with, or the way the Quo polish bumps up, or the way the glitter from base colour wouldn’t properly clean off my cuticles, but either way I dislike this mani.
Inspiration:
Once again I used the HBO design of the sigil as my inspiration… If you look around there are a few different designs for the kraken, so I went with one that looked more like a squid because I like squid. 🙂

These are the other colours I thought of using (and also the design process I use for each mani):
The top left combo is what I went with in the end (because I said fuckit and wanted to use Cast A Spell finally), but I think the bottom right is what I should’ve gone with (Rimmel Black Satin and Maybelline Bold Gold) even if they’re colours I use all the freakin time. Thoughts? (I saved the pics of this mani as version 1 in hopes of re-doing it with those colours later…)
