This month the DD ladies and I are doing nails around the theme of 'Story Genres'! I think this is a super fun prompt, and even though I am already a bit behind on my fills for this round (oops) I have a ton of ideas I'm planning to try!

Today I'm going with a theme of Chick Lit or Modern Romance novels... Those sappy sweet stories with a hint of drama or conflict that end with everything being roses and hearts and everyone securely with their loves. :) My favourites used to be the Shopaholic series, but I haven't read those in ages. Sometimes it's nice to just read something light and fluffy, you know? Maybe I should pick them up again!


I started off with a base of Ceramic Glaze Pure and then dabbed on some loose iridescent flakies* from Born Pretty Store. When that was dry it was time for my stamping!

For the silhouettes I used MoYou London Falcon followed by Ceramic Glaze Little Black Dress, and I tried to do a double stamping look that kind of worked out. The images are from plate BPL-021.

My other nails had the same base, but the stamping was MoYou London Falcon followed by Konad Pink with plate BP-99.

When I was done the whole thing was topped with a layer of iridescent goodness with China Glaze Hay Girl Hay! and a glossy top coat. :)
