Unboxing // My October 2016 Topbox

Oct 2016 Topbox unboxing

So I maybe caved and got a new subscription box. Haha. Oops?

There are just so few that are available to Canadians and that are worth the price that when I find one I feel like I just need to grab on to it! I'm doing it because I'm supporting the industry... Yeah! Let's go with that, I need to buy these things so they keep being available to Canadians! So REALLY I'm doing everyone else a favour by picking this up. It's so hard being so selfless...

Did anyone fall for that? Hahah... If not oh well I tried, now let's get into the unboxing! :)

October 2016 Topbox beauty box unboxing

So Topbox is a beauty box service in Canada, and each month you get four deluxe samples (and the occasional full-sized product). This was my first month and I was super pumped to get a polish! Even if it's a polish I already own, I take it as a good sign. :) I also got three other beauty products I haven't tried before, so let's take a closer look..

October 2016 Topbox unboxing

I love dry shampoo so I'm excited to try the Amika product, and the hand cream smells soooo good! I'm not huge on Benefit Cosmetics products but I am in need of a primer so I'm sure this sample will get used up.

Unfortunately I already own Ceramic Glaze Surf's Up (swatch here) so I'm kind of bummed about that, but in general Ceramic Glaze is a brand I like so I'm pleased to see them included... Hopefully they will show up in the box again and I'll get something new next time!

So here's the breakdown for my October 2016 Topbox:
Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo // $8 sample
Delectable Ultra Nourishing Hand Cream // $6 sample
Ceramic Glaze Nail Lacquer // $11 full size
Benefit Cosmetics the POREfessional Primer // $5 sample

OCT 2016 TOPBOX TOTAL VALUE $30

The box itself cost $12 so I think the box this month definitely had good value. :) I wish I had gotten a polish shade I don't already own but I've already made plans to trade the duplicate with a friend for a Bite Beauty Lip Crayon so whatever!

Let me know what you think! Is the box worth the value for you? :)

Thanks for visiting! xx

  1. So far I've seen Topbox subscription offering to be a little more worth the money and a little bit more premium than its competitors! I like that Amika Dry Shampoo and the Ceramic Glaze polish is perfect for every occasion!
