Hello loves, it's time for another installment of my Throwback Thursday series, taking a look at where I was with my nail art around this time last year. :) I love being able to look back for two reasons: one it let's me see how far I've come, and two it gives me ideas of looks I might want to try recreating in the future! I'm super in love with the posts I have to share with you today, so be sure to check under the cut for the full rundown!
Playful Gradient Nails with the Essie Silk Watercolors
(Original Post: August 28, 2015)
This was one of my first attempts at using the Essie Silk Watercolours (which I still adore) and I did this one by just free-handing on layers of polish with the bottle brush, no sponge or real technique to it. :)
Barry M Arabian
(Original Post: September 4, 2015)
This was my first Barry M polish! My dad brought me some back when he went travelling in Europe and I remember being so freaking excited to share this post. Looking at it now I REALLY need to pull it out again, look at that colour shift!
Encore of My Pink and Blue Ikat Manicure
(Original Post: September 8, 2015)
This is still a popular post on my blog, and it's now over a year old. :') You can often see it popping up in the popular posts widget on the side of my blog, and this is a recreation of one of my first manis that I'm still proud of.
Emerald Jewel Tone Gemstone Twinsie Nail Art
(Original Post: September 22, 2015)
An awesome mani done with an awesome friend. :) Ashley is still one of my nail besties and this was the first twin look we did!
Guest Post for Be Happy and Buy Polish!
(Original Post: September 29, 2015)
TURTLES! My first official attempt at a pond mani? I think so! The background was a total fluke but it ended up turning out to look like jellyfish which was awesome and fit with my ocean theme perfectly. :) If you don't know Jessica @ Be Happy and Buy Polish you should check her out because she is lovely and supportive and awesome!
Fish Scale and Aztec Glam My Mani Nail Vinyls
(Original Post: October 5, 2015)
And last but not least we have a mani done with some vinyls from Glam My Mani! I used two different vinyl designs for two different looks in the original post, so be sure to check it out to see the other design I put together!
Do you remember any of these looks? Which is your fav? Let me know!
Thanks for visiting! xx
