My second fill for The 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge is for snow/winter… For me, that immediately meant snowflakes! Snow is one of the best parts of the holidays, and there’s nothing better than going for a walk when the weather is mild and there are fluffly clumps of snow falling around you.
There are always so many beautiful snowflake manis posted in winter, but I’ve never tried one for myself. This year that changes! And you know what else? I put together a tutorial for this look, so you can try it too! Keep any eye out for it sometime in the next while, and let me know what you think. 🙂
The base for this look was Julep Jasmine, which is a gorgeous deep blue with blue and silver sparkles throughout. It looked like snow in the night sky all on it’s own, so I thought it would make the perfect base for my snowflakes. The design was done with my Rimmel London French White Nail Tip Liner, and then I finished it off with some gems for that extra sparkle. I’m seriously in love with this look! Ahhh!
This was the perfect mani for a snowy day, where I sat curled up at home in a warm sweater and socks. 🙂 All that was missing was a warm cup of hot chocolate, which I think I’m actually going to go and prepare now! 😉
Thanks for visiting!! xx
