ProcrastiNails: Joe Fresh Cinnamon and Bronze Bow Mani

My favourite part of doing swatches is being able to use them as bases for nail art as well. This design was done right after I did my Joe Fresh swatches when I thought to myself “Hmmmm… Bronze would probably pop really well if I put it on top of Cinnamon somehow…” That seemed like as good a time as any to try doing my first bow mani, so here we go!

To get this look I started with three coats of Joe Fresh Nail Polish in Cinnamon, and then drew out bows (a circle and two triangles) in the centre of each nail with  Joe Fresh Nail Polish in Bronze. For a bit of extra sparkle I went over Bronze with a bit of Essie As Gold As It Gets. I then drew an outline and some details onto each bow with Quo by ORLY Instant Artist in Black (not pictured, oops).

The bows aren’t all the same size or shape, but I think that just gives it character! Right? Hahah. 🙂

I’m pretty pleased with this, considering it’s the first time I’ve done bows before! These colours went well together, even if I wish that I’d put a few more daubs of As Gold As It Gets on top of the Bronze to make it sparkle a bit more. OH well. Live and learn!

Thanks for visiting!! xx
