ProcrastiNails: The 31 Day Challenge 2014 – Day 16: Bright and Bold Geometric Stamping

Day 16 of The 31 Day Challenge asked for a Geometric Print, and I knew from the get-go that I wanted to try doing some more stamping decals. This attempt was moderately more successful than my previous attempt but I think I still have some work to do. Either way it did the job, and I’m pretty content with my fill for this theme. 🙂 Let’s take a better look!

I used this Cheeky stamp design as my base because it was the most geometric design I could find. I coloured alternating squares in with blue and white, and after it was dried and applied I added some neon orange square studs for a bit more visual interest. I pulled my two other nails in (painted with Sinful Colors Black on Black and Essie Blanc) by adding the same studs.

I also have no idea what’s going on with my pinky nail in these pictures… I swear it looks normal in real life, I suppose the angle for these was just a bit off and I think the process of making/applying the decal made the nail look thicker than normal. Oh well!

If you have any tips about doing stamping decals for me for the future I’d love to hear them! Practice makes perfect, right? Thanks for visiting!
