I recently received the Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara VoxBox from Influenster and decided to put together a quick review post to share my thoughts. :)

I wasn't super impressed with the last mascara that Influenster sent me, so when I got this one I was hopeful that it would be a better experience. Was it? You'll have to read on to find out!

Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara in Blackest Black

Innovative formula combines fibers and 360° tube technology in one step to plump and extend lashes. Uses the Revlon Mega Lash Brush that deposits formula from lash line to tip for a Mega Lash look. Flake-free, smudge proof wear, water resistant, and removes easily with warm water.

Available wherever Revlon products are sold

So I had some high hopes for this mascara, and though it's a good basic mascara it definitely didn't blow me away. :( I didn't notice any substantial differences in terms of the length or plumpness of my lashes. There was nothing mega going on.

I like that the fibers aren't super obvious (sometimes you get long spider legs with fiber mascaras I find - ew) and it did do a good job of defining my lashes, but that's about it. It's a nice, basic mascara, but if you're looking for something new or different this isn't it. Even the wand is pretty basic, which you can see below...

So yeah, I have to say this was a bit of a disappointment. Don't get me wrong - it's a good mascara and I'll definitely put it into normal daily rotation once my current mascara is done, but when a mascara is advertised as something special I expect more than the norm. A different brush, a different formula, maybe some glitter... Anything, you know?

Ah well. Another day, another mascara. I'm sure one day Influenster will send me one I will love, and I will wait until that day. :)

Thanks for visiting! xx

  2. The tube looks huge. Was it difficult to hold?

  3. Great review of the mascara, bummer that it didn't work out. I'm forever on the lookout for something to make my lashes look longer since I was blessed with short ones.

  4. Thanks for the honest review. I'm not a fan of fibers coz I wear contact lenses so I won't rush out to buy this one either.

  5. Fortunately i was blessed with long lashes - if i can be honest i had maybe worn mascara about 3 times max in my entire life. I'm just not that keen on mascara's to be honest. I had received one last year in a goody bag and i gave it away.
