ProcrastiNails: Nail Art // HPB Presents Halloween

I’m back with another Halloween look, this time as part of the October Hobby Polish Bloggers Linkup! I wore this mani to work and I actually had one coworker who thought it was too gross to look at. That’s how I knew I did a good job! Haha. I affectionately refer to this look as My Bloody Pink Eye to up the gross factor. 😉 You know you love it.

My base is two coats of Beyond The Nail Supernova which is actually a holo (as is the black polish – Julep Ebony). Why did I mattify holo? Why not?! I like the velvety look it gives when it dries. 🙂

My stamping was done with two different plates: BM-H06 and MoYou London Festive Collection 16 (originally reviewed here)! My stamping polish was Mundo de Unas Reddish, and I filled in the eyeballs with Julep Ebony and Sinful Colors Snow Me White.

When it was dry the whole thing was covered with Sally Hansen Big Matte Top Coat (which is quickly becoming my favourite)!

I was always told as a child not to mix red and pink because they would look tacky together, but for this nail art I think it’s the perfect combo. The light pink makes sure those bloody drops really stand out!
