ProcrastiNails: Simple Mani with the OPI Sheer Tint Polishes: I’m Never Amberrassed, Don’t Violet Me Down, Be Magentale With Me, and I Can Teal You Like Me!

My local beauty supply store had the new OPI Sheer Tint shades out so I scooped them up the other day on a break from work so I could try them out and share them with you. Originally I intended to put together a full swatch and review post, but since I got these the night before leaving the province for a visit with my family that’s going to have to wait. I did a few swatches before I left, so keep an eye out at the beginning of March for my full post! For now you get a quick look I put together with all of the shades to show off the opacity and layering ability of these polishes. 🙂

These polishes have the cutest names… In order, we have: I’m Never Amberrassed, Don’t Violet Me Down, Be Magentale With Me, and I Can Teal You Like Me. (OPI always has the best names!) What you see above is one solid sweep across the nail with each colour. They’re very soft and Easter-y!

You can see from the horizontal streak across the nails that these polishes build up beautifully. This is going to be an awesome polish for plaid nails, and OPI also suggested using it to make a gradient. I’m excited to try both of those ideas out in the future, as well as layering these glosses over different colours. So many options!!

This is one of OPI’s March 2014 sets, and though they were technically available in early February I hadn’t seem them around anywhere yet so I was really excited when I came across them. These polishes are basically really sheer jellies or glosses so there’s lots of creative ways you could use them. I stuck with some basics for today but like I said I have lots of more creative ideas so keep your eyes open for them in the future!

Thanks for visiting!! xx
