Nail Art: Green for #31DC2016 // Geometric Layered Pond Mani with MoYou London and OPI

First fill of the day, here we go! I decided to do my first pond mani (layering stamping and a jelly polish) for my green fill, and I'm super pleased with how it turned out. :) I think choosing a design with not a lot of surface area when stamping was a good call because I didn't have to wait long for it to dry before I could do my next layer. Woo!

For this mani I started out with one coat of OPI Landscape Artist from the Color Paints Collection (swatches here) and then I did a layer of stamping with Mundo de Unas White and this triangle design from MoYou London Hipster Collection Plate 07. When it was dry I repeated the layers 3 more times, finished with one more coat of green and then placed a single triangle at the top for contrast. :)

I find this mani really refreshing, as I don't often wear greens! But it's bright and fresh and somehow reminds me of grass? I don't know if that's just because of the polish name or because I associate grass with green things though... Hahah.

Thanks for visiting!! xx
