If you’re reading this blog I’m going to assume you’ve heard about the Pantone Color of the Year. If you don’t know, basically Pantone selects a colour every year that they feel symbolizes the mood and culture we’re in for a given year. For nail and beauty bloggers it’s basically a great excuse to do theme posts around the colour selected.
This year Pantone surprised us and selected not one but TWO colours: Rose Quartz and Serenity. Today I’m showing you my pick for the soft baby blue shade that Pantone calls Serenity, and it comes in the form of Sally Hansen Babe Blue. Sally Hansen Babe Blue is the perfect representation of the soft and calm blue the Pantone chose this year, in my opinion. When I went through my collection I was shocked at how few soft blue shades I had, so maybe Pantone is sending a message to me for this year — buy more light blue! (Or maybe I’m just looking for an excuse to buy more polish. I guess. Psh.)
