Some days you just wanna do nail art but your nails are broken. Today I decided to try doing a full mani on top of some Nailene artificial nails and while I like the design I ended up I feel kinda :/ over how the falsies look. Oh well. Live and learn!
This was also a successful attempt at stamping decals for me! You have no idea how psyched that made me feel, haha. Check under the cut for more pics and info.
I started with a base of the gorgeous OPI Give Me Space and then painted some clear polish on a plastic bag and stamped some designed chevrons with MoYou London Artist Plate 17 and Konad White. Once they were dry they basically popped off the plastic and I applied them with some more top coat over my base, and then used one more layer of top coat over it all to stick on some clear gems from Born Pretty Store.
Overall I like how the different pieces of this design came together. :) Give Me Space is one of my favourite polishes in recent memory, and I've been wanting to use this stamping plate for a really long time. The whole plate is just different designs of chevrons! Amazing!
The one thing I might change in the future is using a different colour of stamping polish. I feel like I pretty much always use black or white stamping polish and I really need to branch out a bit... Haha.
If you were to re-do this look with a different shade of stamping polish, what colour would you go for? I'd love to hear!
Thanks for visiting!! xx
