January already, oh my gosh. Well, time to get a move on with the new year I guess. Julep’s starting our 2016 with a decent selection of items though nothing to write home about.
Oh hey, speaking of all of this – you may have noticed I’ve gotten lax in my Julep swatches these past few months. I actually have I think 4 or 5 months of boxes that I haven’t shared with you yet because life got in the way… Is there interest in me going back to swatch and share those boxes? Or would you rather I just continued sharing future boxes? Let me know! 🙂

This month Julep is introducing four new shades to their It’s Balm Full-Coverage Lip Crayon line. I adore these crayons and own a bunch of them already! They have colour as well as a moisturizing core and apply beautifully. The new shades are named Apricot Nude Crème, Dusty Orchid Shimmer, Nectar Pink Crème and Ripe Raspberry Shimmer.

The other new product this month doesn’t really seem new to me… Julep says their new No Limits Luxe Hydrating Crème is: “An indulgent moisturizer for any place that needs a spot of intensive
hydration. A unique push-button delivery cap dispenses the just-right
amount while keeping the crème inside free from impurities.”
I feel like it might just be a repackaging and rebranding of their Luxe Care Hand Crème (which happens to be out of stock) as a more all-over moisturizer rather than just for hands? Someone should compare them to find out for me! (It won’t be me because I don’t really care that much.)

I went with the It Girl box this month (four products, woo!) and did some swapping. I wanted the lovely blue holo Tali so I left that in, but I swapped the Silver Icicle Nail Wraps out for some Golden Angle Nail Wraps, and swapped out the two other polishes for Elsa from a month or two ago and Julep’s Oxygen Bonding Base Coat. I’m pretty pleased!
