Day 30 is Inspired by a Tutorial so I decided to go with a look that I’ve been meaning to try but haven’t yet done – a waterfall mani! I was inspired by the awesome tutorial put together by The Nailasaurus and used some peacock-inspired colours because why not. 🙂
The base of this look was Julep Alice, and then I did the waterfall technique with my Plié Wand Striping Brush and OPI Dutch ‘Ya Just Love OPI?, OPI Fly, OPI No Room for the Blues and OPI Into the Night.
As much as I love my Plié Wand Striping Brush for normal striping I think I want to try using a different brush next time. This one liked to keep the stripe the same width from top to tip and the synthetic plastic-y fibres it’s made of make it fairly stiff and difficult to really taper. Lesson learned!
