Chevron French Tips Sharp Enough to Kill

by - Thursday, July 17, 2014

The other day I was in one of those moods where I was angry and I wanted people to know. So I grabbed some bold colours that were chilling on top of my desk and freehanded some sharply pointed chevron french tips. Nails are a good way to transmit cues to others non-verbally, right? Turns out the colours I decided on are ones that I already used recently in combo, but why mess with a good thing.

Both of these polishes (OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby. and OPI 4 in the Morning) are actually matte on their own, so I decided to try using a top coat I picked up in Cuba that I hadn't tried yet - Golden Rose Mega Shine Top Coat. It worked fine, but I thought the brush was a bit thin and I couldn't get as much polish on the nail per stroke that I would've liked to. Ah well, it did the job!

Let me know what you think! :) Thanks for visiting!!
