Bright Water Marble Mani with OPI and Sinful Colors
As you can see in my Instagram pic for this mani, I chose these colours based on this month's Real Simple magazine cover because they really popped for me. Unfortunately, Fly turned out a lot more blue and less turquoise than I remember, so my colour matching wasn't perfect. :(
One thing I want to mention is that Sinful Colors (or at least this particular colour) was the perfect consistency to use for water marbling. With OPI I find if your drip is too big it just sinks to the bottom of the cup, and China Glaze sometimes doesn't spread out on the surface of the water enough. I didn't have either of these problems with SC. So if you haven't tried SC for this technique before I would recommend it for next time!
What I used to get this look:
(L to R):
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in White On (basecoat so the marbling would show well)
Sinful Colors Timbleberry
OPI Fly

I love how the red and the blue blend together and you get purple in between.
