Oh my goodness it has been months since I last shared a Julep box with you, hasn't it? I've still been receiving them and enjoying them, but I just haven't gotten around to blogging about them!

This month I pushed myself to get this post out and I'm going to try to get to the backlog (one day lol) though unfortunately this is a month where my main box didn't have any polish in it... Maybe that's why it was so easy to get the post up before the end of the month? No polish swatches? Hmm.

Curious about what I got instead of polish? Check below to find out!

The free gift this month was a lemon candy, and there's also a coupon code to use at Ulta Beauty as Julep has just launched with them. I don't think we have Ulta in Canada so feel free to use my code if you want. :) It's good for 20% off your full Julep purchase!

So here's a full look at my box before we start breaking things down... As you can see: no polish! Also no new products - I decided to go with some older ones I haven't gotten the chance to try, and also a well-loved nail care product. Let's get into all that in more detail!

Julep So Radiant Diamond Powder Bronzer in Light Gold Bronze

Julep So Radiant Diamond Powder Bronzer in Light Gold Bronze ($28 / Julep)

Description: A soft-focus bronzer with illuminating diamond powder that minimizes the appearance of pores. Enhanced with vitamin B6 and age-defying Power Cell Complex™ to promote softer, smoother skin with continued use.

First up is my first venture into bronzers... I picked up the So Radiant Diamond Powder in the lighter shade of the two mainly because I thought if I had the product I would give it a try. I actually watched my first tutorial and wore it with the rest of my makeup for the first time today, so so far it has worked just as I had hoped! Yay trying new beauty products!

And here's a swatch:

Julep Your Lip Addiction in Obsessed

Julep Your Lip Addiction in Obsessed ($22 / Julep)
Description: Kiss up to the best Korean secret for soft lips with a colorful tint that’s sheer perfection: Your Lip Addiction tinted lip oil treatment.

I'm not a huge lip gloss fan but I was interested in this one because it sounded more like a moisturizer than a gloss. It has a flat-ended doe foot applicator and has a great seal so I'm not worried about it spilling in my purse. It tasted a bit sweet (yes I accidentally ate some of it...) and I think the first time I applied too much because I couldn't stop being bothered by how oily it felt on my lips. I think if I get the proper amount figured out I'll be happy with it and will likely continue to use it. :)

I got the reddish shade and it has just enough tint to be visible on the lips. Here's a swatch:

Julep Ta Da! Quick Dry Drops

Julep Ta Da! Quick Dry Drops ($18 / Julep
Description: Back by popular demand, these game-changing drops will leave your manicure touchably smudge-free in just a few minutes. Features & Benefits: Reduces polish dry time, nourishes nails and cuticles with botanical oils and vitamin , scented with lavender and ylang ylang. To use: Wait one minute after your final coat of polish, then apply 1-2 drops to each nail.

Julep's quick dry drops are one of the nail products I swear by, and I know I'm not the only blogger to feel that way! They work so well and smell so good, and as a bonus they oil your cuticles too! I seriously can't say enough good things about these. This is my third bottle and I already plan to buy another the next time they go on sale.

Overall I'm pretty pleased with this box! None of the products I got are new, but they're all new to me....

And you know what else? I might have had enough points to ALSO get the full holo polish collection for this month, soooo you can keep an eye out for that coming soon, hopefully. ;) So it wasn't a polish-less month, I just decided to split it all up in to two posts. Surprise!

About the Julep Maven Program: The Julep Maven program costs $24.99 a month and is fully customizable, or you can pre-pay for 3 months and receive each box for $19.99. You can also upgrade to the Maven Luxe program for $39.99 a month ($34.99/mo if you pre-pay for 3 months) which entitles you to a fully customizable box plus one additional product per month. And you can skip or send to a friend whenever you want!

Let me know what you think! Thanks for visiting! xx

  2. This is a nice box! I have been skipping my Julep boxes recently because I just have sooooo much and I really don't need to spend the money, but I have been enjoying their forays into other beauty products rather than their polish! The lip treatment has me really intrigued! Great review!
