Products in the CND Canada Rescue Kit

Hi loves! Super pumped to share today’s post with you as it features some awesome nail care products from CND and coincidentally one of my absolute all-time favourite nail products ever (from any brand!). Curious about which product I’m referring to? Well, you can check out my review below of the full lineup of products in this CND Rescue Kit to see!

CND Koala Buffer, Cuticle Eraser and ScrubFresh Nail Surface Cleanser Review
CND’s Koala Buffer, Cuticle Eraser and ScrubFresh Nail Surface Cleanser

CND Koala Buffer

This buffer has a 240/1200 grit so you can file and smooth with one side and buffer with the other (lower number = rougher grit). It’s the perfect combo in my opinion and left my nails smooth and one step closer to being ready to be painted!

CND Cuticle Eraser

This was my first time trying CND’s Cuticle Eraser and I would say it’s more of a moisturizer than a traditional cuticle eraser. It’s a cream that you’re supposed to spread on the cuticles 2 or 3 times a day, though I used it before pushing my cuticles back too and it seemed to really help.It also had a pleasant slightly fruity scent to it which was a surprise!

CND ScrubFresh Nail Surface Cleanser

If you want your nail polish to last the longest it can you should really be prepping the nail before you apply your polish. This surface cleanser is a product to help with that as it dehydrates and cleans the nail plate for you. I don’t generally use products like these as I change my polish so often, but it will be great to use when I do manis for friends in the future. It smells like acetone (which it partially is) so just a heads up if you’re expecting it to smell like something else… it doesn’t haha.

CND Vinylux Weekly Polish in Desert Poppy, Weekly Top Coat and SolarOil Nail & Cuticle Conditioner Review
CND Vinylux Weekly Polish in Desert Poppy, Weekly Top Coat and SolarOil Nail & Cuticle Conditioner

CND Vinylux Weekly Polish

Honestly I really like CND Vinylux polishes. They wear great and come in a variety of gorgeous shades every season and they’re perfect for when I go on vacation or plan to wear the same mani for a longer period of time because they last a lot longer on the nail than regular polishes. The lovely pictured above is CND Vinylux Desert Poppy and it’s from the 2016 Flirtation Collection. I’ll have full swatches of this and three other shades up tomorrow, so check back! 🙂

CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat

I find that CND’s Vinylux Weekly Top Coat gives a really great shine to nails and I’ve never had issues with shrinking (like I’ve had with other really glossy top coats) though you do have to make sure to shake it and not let it dry out or you might end up with some strings tailing your brush when you go to paint it over your polish. If that happens I’d recommend adding just a wee bit of polish thinner and you’ll be good to go again. 🙂

CND SolarOil Nail & Cuticle Conditioner

And this is it – one of my favourite nail products of all-time! Since I first used CND’s SolarOil a couple of years ago I have been obsessed with it. It smells delicious (like sweet almond!) soaks in really well and really quickly, and leaves my nails and cuticles looking great. I like to pull this oil out whenever I’m swatching to use after clean-up and before pictures because it massages in really well leaving very little oil and shine to reflect in my pictures. Honestly I swear by this product so if you’re looking for a new cuticle oil + conditioner definitely check this one out! Right now! Go! Haha.

CND Rescue RXx Daily Keratin Treatment Review
CND Rescue RXx Daily Keratin Treatment

CND Rescue RXx Daily Keratin Treatment

Ohhhh nail strengthening treatments, I have tried so many of you. But one of the things I love about this treatment in particular is that you apply it not only to your nail but also to the free edge and the cuticle. The keratin proteins and jojoba oil apparently bond on to your natural nail to help strengthen and condition your nails so they can grow long and strong and lovely. 🙂

This is a product that you’re supposed to use 2x a day on naked nails for up to four weeks and I’m actually in the middle of a usage test right now so I can report back to you with full 4 week findings! (So check back later for that!) So far I can tell you I’ve definitely noticed a difference in the strength of my nails which is awesome.

Review of the CND Nail Rescue Kit

Overall I really feel this kit has every nail care need covered. You have your prep products, your polish, and your nail care. 🙂 I’m already a convert when it comes to CND Vinylux Weekly Polishes and SolarOil (*angels sing*) but I’m really pleased with the rest so far, too.

Have you tried any of the products in the Rescue Kit before? Any that you’re looking forward to trying in the future? Let me know!

Thanks for visiting! xx
