Remember how I said I would get two posts up yesterday? Yeah, that (obviously) didn’t happen. Which means I need to get two up today so that I can get back on track! I have my ‘Purple’ fill for the 30 Days of Colour to share with you now, and I just have some pics to crop before I can share today’s actual post with you (my fill for ‘Orange’!) and be fully caught up. Phew!
The purple polish I decided to swatch is one I’ve been holding on to since it came out, and it’s the only shade I picked up from OPI’s Nordic Collection last year. It’s the ever-gorgeous Do You Have This Color In Stock-Holm?
This is a lovely deep grape creme polish that applied flawlessly with two coats. Depending on how thick you do your coats you might need three, but two was enough for me. It’s also pictured here without top coat so you can see how great the gloss is in this polish.
I know I literally say this with every polish I swatch, but I can’t believe I left this in my untrieds so long! I love how deep and rich the shade is and I’m kind of annoyed now that I didn’t get a chance to wear it last fall. Oh well, it’ll still be around for this fall and I’ll just have to remember to pull it out. 🙂
In macro you can see where the polish might benefit from top coat, but I personally like to do my swatches without. If I wore this out and about I would seal it with top coat for longevity, though.
Here’s a look at the other ‘Purple’ fills:
