It’s my party, and I’ll paint cupcakes on my nails if I wanna! Hahah. 🙂 That’s right: it’s my birthday today! Hooray! To celebrate I took the day off and am going out with friends later tonight. I also decided that it was time to try a design that I’ve been wanting to try for a while: cupcake nails! I gathered some of my favourite polishes, sat down, and gave it a try! Let’s take a look at how they turned out!
The two polishes I knew I wanted to use for this mani were my favourite matte Zoya’s: Veruschka and Harlow. I chose some pastels that matched them for the cupcake liners and then grabbed a trusty white (in this case Essie Blanc) and went to town making the icing!
I’m so happy with how these turned out… Seriously, don’t they look good enough to eat?!
I wore these both yesterday and today, and it was one of those looks I seriously couldn’t stop staring it. It’s so cheerful and playful and fun! I’m hoping they’ll hold out for at least one more day without chipping. Fingers crossed!!
