ProcrastiNails: The 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art: Dec 5th – Oh Bring Us Some Figgy Pudding!

Alright, so it’s not figgy pudding per se… But it is technically a christmas pudding, so that’ll have to be good enough. 🙂 The third fill for the 12 Days of Christmas Nails Challenge is… Food!

The first attempt for this mani had a gingerbread person on the accent nail. It…. didn’t turn out to well, to put it nicely. lol. Maybe I’ll upload a pic of my failed attempt on to instagram at some point. This was my second attempt, and it came out much nicer.

If you’re curious about the colours used for this look, the green base is actually a matte Zoya polish from 2009 called Veruschka. I added a topcoat to make it glossy, and drew my pudding with OPI German-icure by OPI, Essie Blanc and Julep Sheila. Dotting tools and tiny paint brushes were used throughout. 🙂

Seriously, I’m in love with this green. I’m gonna have to take some shots of it in it’s natural matte form, because it’s stunning. Perfect for the holidays!

So that’s my fill for day 3! Food food food, om nom nom. Next up we have festive colours, which is (thankfully) a nice simple challenge. I already have something in mind for it. Keep an eye for it on the 7th!

Till next time!! xx
