Pink pink pink! Let's talk pink polishes. :)
Color Club Jackie Oh!
I can literally hear y'all in my head about this one... "Katherine, that is a NEON! Not a creme!" But hear me out! It's a neon AND creme! Will it probably also show up in a future 'Fav Neons' post? Probably, as it is one of my all-time favourite polishes. But that doesn't mean I can't also feature it today. :) My list, my rules!
Jackie Oh! is an electric pink creme that requires no undies and applies with zero issues to full opacity with two coats. It is vibrant and bright and perfect. Love love love!
Essie Delhi Dance
Next up is a much softer pink: Delhi Dance from Essie! This is the perfect pastel bubblegum pink and I think it's a great shade to wear as we transition into spring. It makes me think of sunshine and chatting with friends and candy and warm weather. :) Perfect for work and for play.
This one takes three coats to build up to full opacity, but it's worth it for the bright yet soft colour payoff you get!
Ceramic Glaze Perfect Peony
Next up is the first of two Ceramic Glaze polishes I'm in love with: Perfect Peony. Coral pinks are some of my favourite pinks (next to pastels) and this one is the perfect combination of beautiful colour and easy application. This one takes two coats and dries quickly with no streaking.
OPI Let's Be Friends!
Me and this polish? Best friends forever. 100%. If you know me you must know about my love for all things pastel, and as soon as I saw swatches of this polish way back when I KNEW it would be one of my favourites.
Let's Be Friends! has a bit of trouble in terms of application (it can be a bit streaky) but that doesn't bother me as the colour is just perfection. One of my favourite colours to wear with a tan!
Ceramic Glaze Seize the Day
Our second Ceramic Glaze shade is Seize the Day, and on top of sharing a name with my favourite Newsies song it's fabulous perfection in a blue-leaning bubblegum pink polish. Like, just tell me you can look at this polish and not feel immediately happy. I dare you!
Two coats and you're good to go with this one, and it dries quickly with no streaking. :)
If you had asked me what I thought about pink polish when I started this blog I would have said "Ehhh, I can take it or leave it but I'm not a huge fan of pink." But these days I feel like pink polishes just speak to me. They add a pop of colour and of femininity to any look, and they just make me feel happy. :) So there you go, somehow blogging has turned me into a pink convert! Who would have guessed!
What do you think about pink polish - are you with me or would you usually pass? I know it's not a shade for everyone!
Let me know what you think, and thanks for visiting! xx
