Nail Art // (A Successful!!) Drag Marble Winter Tree Accent Nail
Christmas is over but I have one more wintery Christmas look to share with you before we move on to the new year! (ALSO HAPPY 2017!) This is also my first look for the Nail Challenge Collaborative's January theme of Winter!
I ordered TEN BILLION indie polishes during the Black Friday sales a while ago and I've finally been able to start playing around with them. And oh my gosh you guys, so many new pretties! The two brands that I ordered the most from are LynB Designs and Fair Maiden and both of them are actually featured in this mani. :) So let's take a look!
I started off with a base of a polish I am absolutely in love with: Fair Maiden Fallen Snow which is a white filled with shimmer and flakies. It applied so smoothly and it's soooo pretty!
For my main accent nail I made a drag marble tree decal with Ciate London Superficial and then applied the decal to my nail and added my stars with nail vinyls and LynB Designs You Sit On a Throne of Lies.
I decided my tree needed a little jazzing up so I added some copper microbeads to match the stars and voila! :)
Christmas nail art is so fun and this was the first time I tried a drag marble tree (I did three different decals with this technique and they all worked so well!). I def want to try doing more drag marbles as they're really fun to do and look awesome. Maybe some flowers next? :)
Check out the other gorgeous winter looks that the ladies in the Nail Challenge Collaborative have put together this month, too:
So that's it for my seasonal Christmas looks (though I'll still have some more winter looks coming up in the future) and I'd love to know what you think. Thanks for visiting! xx
