Nail Art // The Digit-al Dozen Does Birthdays: Galaxy Mani for January 2017!

by - Sunday, January 29, 2017

Hello loves! Today we are celebrating the January birthday of Shelly from Sassy Shelly! Happy Birthday! :D

In celebration the Digit-al Dozen ladies are making manis based on an image she chose for us to use for inspiration. Check under the cut for a look at the picture she chose, and then take a better look at the mani I put together!

This is the fun galaxy pic that Shelly chose for us to use for inspiration, and if you know me you know I love a good galaxy mani! So I was over the moon with her choice! :)

I ended up doing a nail art design with the basic galaxy technique: black, followed by white sponged on, followed by layers of colour and glitter and stars. :)

I used so many different polishes to put this together, but for those interested I will try to list them all...  Let's see:

  • LynB Designs He's an Angry Elf (black holo base)
  • Sinful Colors Snow Me White
  • OPI I Sea You Wear OPI (shimmery blue)
  • Delush Polish All Twerk & No Play (orange crelly with blue glitter)
  • Delush Polish Cheers Comes the Sun (neon yellow crelly with green glitter)
  • Lemming Lacquer Nothing was Ever Accomplished with Tears (purple shimmer)
  • Lemming Lacquer Frabjous Day (pink shimmer with flakies)
  • Fiendish Fancies F13-04 (mint)
  • China Glaze Make a Spectacle! (iridescent glitter)
  • Revlon Holographic Pearls (holo topper)

Whew!

I'm also playing around with some new angles for pictures as I'm getting a bit tired of the same old three looks again and again. It was fun letting myself just take shots at any angle that pulled my attention!

Anyway, Happy Birthday Shelly! <3 br="">

Thanks for visiting! Let me know what you think! xx
