Nail Art // Calming Green Leaves for the 30 Days of Colour Challenge

by - Friday, January 20, 2017

Hello loves! I've been feeling under the weather the past few days unfortunately, but thankfully I had a few posts photographed already from last weekend so I still have some looks to share with you while I recuperate. :)

Today we're looking at my favourite look so far this year - these double stamped leaves which are my 'Calm' fill for The 30 Days of Colour. Blue and green are definitely shades that come to mind for me when I think about being calm. I was planning to do something with shades of blue but I ended up with this and I'm super glad I did - I've worn these nails all week!

Check under the cut for more pics! :)

So pretty!!

I started off with another one of my new Avon polishes - Avon Noir Emerald - and then started layering my stamping. The first layer was simple and subtle stamping with Color Club Martian, Martian, Martian! and BP-96 Plate from Born Pretty Store.

Next up I did some more obvious leaves with MoYou London Winter Green and MoYou London Nature 07. To finish it off I applied a layer of glossy top coat and some small clusters of copper microbeads for contrast (and FUN!).

I love this macro shot! Guys I just love everything about this post and this look. So much love. :)

I was in a blah mood when I started writing this post but now that it's done and I've looked at these pictures again I'm in a shockingly good mood! These nails definitely gave me positive vibes so they are very fitting for this week's prompt. :)

Check out the other looks from The 30 Days of Colour below!

Let me know what you think, thanks for visiting! xx
