Nail Art // The Digit-al Dozen Does Colour Contrasts: Pink on Pink Stamping

I have two more days of Colour Contrasts to share with you, and today we're doing some tone-on-tone stamping! I decided to contrast a pastel and a neon of the same shade for this look, and while it's simple I also think it's impactful.

I also love how this stamping polish looks different almost every time I use it... I think it really pulls from whatever base colour it's over to appear either pink or purple. So neat!

Check under the cut for the name of the stamping polish I used, and also more pics and info!

Okay! So! I wanted a soft pastel pink base for this look and decided to go with CND Vinylux Lavender Lace (originally swatched here). I then used my Ya Qin An Plate Y001 and Mundo de Unas Tutti to stamp on this lace and floral design. :)

The stamping polish softened a bit in colour when I applied it so the contrast isn't as bold as I had thought it would be but it's still delightful looking!

I thought about adding studs or something else to this look but decided I liked how it looked on it's own. That's one thing this challenge is really showing me - that bold contrasts of colour can stand on their own in an otherwise simple nail art look!

Thanks for visiting! xx
