ProcrastiNails: Nail Art // Peacock Stamping Marble with Gold Mundo de Unas Accent Nails

Oh man, you know that feeling when you try something new and once you get the hang of it you’re like “THIS IS AMAZING”? That’s how I feel about stamping marbles! Oh my goodness gracious it’s so simple! It took me a couple nails to really get into a rhythm but now that I’ve gotten it I’m never going back to any other type of marble! (Water marble I’m looking at you!)

Anyway! The marble is just one of the features in this mani, so let’s take a closer look at the whole thing below. 🙂

To start this look off I did a stamping marble on all my fingers. I just took a medium firmness stamper and put splotches of OPI No Room For the Blues, Christmas Gone Plaid and Do You Have This Color in Stock-Holm? on it and then smooshed it onto the nail. A layer of top coat and it was good to go! (And yes, I used liquid latex around my cuticles… Cleanup would have been a pain otherwise!) Literally took like 5 minutes!

For a bit of extra something something I added some gold stamping with Mundo de Unas Gold and Born Pretty Store Plate BPL-027. I really love how bold and geometric this design is!

I love how the colours in this marble blend together, they definitely remind me of the feathers of a peacock! (And who doesn’t love peacocks?!)

And there’s no mani that a pop of gold won’t jazz up just right imo!

I’ve been trying to be a bit more adventurous with colour as I found my last three nail art designs (not all of which have been posted yet) were done with a combo of white, pink and blue… Those seem to be my go-to shades! I’m trying to shake that up, so you might (hopefully) see some colour combos in the next few weeks that are a bit more exciting and diverse… That’s what I’m hoping for, at least! And I think this mani was a good start! 🙂

Let me know what you think! Thanks for visiting! xx
