ProcrastiNails: Emerald Jewel Tone Gemstone Twinsie Nail Art

My first twinsie nail art design! What an exciting day! You might have seen these on instagram last week when I first did them with the lovely Ash from Glitter Perfection xo. We are both (in theory – I’ve fallen a bit behind) doing the 30 Days of Colour Challenge and decided to collaborate for Day 12: Jewel Tone. We did some emerald jewel nails to take the prompt as literally as possible, and I’m super pleased with how they turned out!

Check under the cut for a better look and also a shot of what Ash put together!

The main shade I used for my emeralds (the colour in the very centre) is China Glaze Exotic Encounters. I did all my ombre variants by adding various levels of black and white polishes and then applying colour with a nail art brush. My final details in black and white were done with acrylic paint.

If you want to give this try a look yourself you can check out the same tutorial that I followed, from Chalkboard Nails! It was super simple, surprisingly!

And here’s a shot of both mine and Ash’s nails together from IG:

Both of our emerald nails together! I had so much fun doing these with @glitterperfection_xo and both our manis turned out so good!! Eee! #bestietwinnails
