ProcrastiNails: 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art: Festive Red and Green Colour Blocking

Colour blocking nail art using red and green Zoya over a glitter gradient base.

And I’m caught up! This is my fill for the red and green theme for The 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge. I decided to do some colour blocking with tape and nail vinyls over a simple glitter gradient, and while it’s not my best or most exciting design I still like it. 🙂

Check under the cut for more details!

I started with a couple coats of Essie Cocktails & Coconuts and then used a sponge to do a simple gradient with Revlon Seychelles Sand. Once that was dry I taped off some segments with some nail vinyls from NailVinyls.com and striping tape, and then filled them in with Zoya Veruschka and Zoya Pepper. Two coats of top coat to seal it all in and it was done!

I got a ton of glittery Revlon polishes at outlet sales at The Ex this summer and Revlon Seychelles Sand was one of them. I loved how it looked over my Essie base so I took a shot to show you those two on their own! Sandy glittery holo-y goodness!
