When I was trying to think of what to do for metallics the first thing that came to mind was my chrome Sally Hansen Color Foil polishes, so of course I had to put those to use. My family always says more is better so to add even more metallic to this look I added a glitter-packed topper for a bit of extra sparkle! I’d like to think if a robot wanted to get their nails done this is the kind of thing they would go for. Haha.
For this look I started off with a base of Sally Hansen Color Foil Sterling Silver and then I added a thick stripe with Sally Hansen Color Foil Rose Copper. The glitter topper is Julep Clio from The Champagne Trio.
This manicure fought me every step of the way. I’m now certain that last week was my grace period, and now this challenge is going to fight me tooth and nail against getting done. First I couldn’t figure out what to do with this design, and then when it was done and time to photograph my lighting + camera setup combined with the extreme shiny of this look made it really difficult to capture. Ah well – the main thing is it’s done, and I was actually really happy with the look ultimately.
